About MA

Linda Thacker is Founder and Executive Director of Mission Accessible, Inc., a non-profit 501-c-3 corporation dedicated to helping establish, promote and expand a network of accessible mission fields worldwide to facilitate ministry to and through people and families affected by disability.  Formerly Church Relations Coordinator for Joni & Friends/DFW (the local area branch of the global Disability Ministry Outreach of Joni Eareckson Tada), Linda graduated in Spring 2007 with a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Linda brings decades of experience as a marketing communications executive working with some of the largest and fastest-growing companies in their industries worldwide. Today she works alongside her husband Larry who is visually-impaired to help connect the church with the vast (one in five people according to the US Census Bureau) and largely unchurched population of people and families affected by disability nationwide.

Both Linda and Larry are active members of Bartimaeus Baptist Temple (www.BBTemple.org) near downtown Dallas, a church started more than fifty years ago by a pastor with disabilities named Don Whitmore and his wife Anna Ruth. After their son David’s Homegoing in 2018, Larry dedicated himself to carry on their legacy as Senior Pastor of this loving congregation with An Attitude Of Gratitude indeed!
